He came, he saw, he conquered our girls' hearts - quite something for a little boar all of twelve months old.

Pilot the boar was shipped in from Ballarat, Victoria, some weeks back. He travelled in splendid isolation, coming across the Bass Strait on the ferryon in a stock container on his own. Oliver and Sam went and picked him up at a rendezvous point - the roundabout outside Devonport - and brought him back in the trailer.

Cometh the Man

Because we don’t think the girls have enough to do with their time, we’re getting them a husband. Pilot is being shipped from Victoria next week and we await him with much anticipation. His new lady friends are feigning indifference but we believe they’ll change their minds. Spring is in the air, and soon the aroma of boar pheromones will be also.
